This company is a leading pharmaceuticals manufacturer based in Leeds and they are seeking an experienced production operative to be involved in the packaging of Oral Medicines. Ideally you will have a good grade GCSE in a "Science" subject and may have worked previously in a Pharmaceutical Packaging role before.
This is primarily a three month minimum contract
The brief role description is as follows: To contribute to the efficient and effective production of finished Licensed and Specials products in accordance with written procedures and current good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) through the application of job specific and personal skills.
To provide effective leadership to other Operators during the absence of the Supervisor in order to meet the schedule of work and to provide effective line communication with other departments on a needs to know basis. Primary Tasks§ Plan and Organise together with other team members those tasks require to meet the day’s production targets. § To carry out according to clearly defined documentation the production processes necessary to achieve the days planned production targets. § Ensuring that the recording of tasks and events on the batch and in-process documentation is carried out both timely and accurately. § To assist with the training of other Operators in order to develop their skills to a level of competency which will allow them to carry out allocated tasks with the minimum of supervision.
Ancillary Tasks
§ To ensure that the Production area is maintained to the level of cleanliness and tidiness required under GMP. § Enhance and develop new skills appropriate to the needs of Production and the Company’s commitment to IiP.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by your Area Manager from time to time. |
