Job Purpose:
To support all elements within the NPD department to include
Development Chef Support
- Production of kitchen samples, to include weighing, cooking, packing & labelling as required, briefed on weekly/daily basis.
- Attendance at specified factory trails/1st productions
- Attendance at specified internal and external presentations
- Weekly calibration of electronic scales
Daily Taste Panel C-ordination (to be advised longevity of this element)
Reheating and presentation of products and cleaning down once completed daily.
NPD Hygiene
- Cleaning fridge & freezers & blast freezer each day
- Clean microwaves and combi-oven on a daily basis
- Clean the floor and sanitise the worktops and sinks at the end of each day
- Emptying Bins and disposing of rubbish throughout & at the end of each day
- Adhering to the weekly kitchen cleaning schedule
- Internal Customer Presentations-Keeping the kitchen clear of all dirty crockery/cutlery during presentations
Preferred qualifications:
- Basic Food Hygiene
- NVQ 1 Food
Skills base:
- Written/Verbal English
- Basic Computer Skills – Excel & Word
- Physical Chef Experience (1/2 years)
- Driving Licence
