Our client is a leading UK independent Rubber Compounder, supplying to the automotive, building & general rubber goods industries.

They are currently recruiting a mechanical maintenance engineer. Ideally the applicant will be familiar with Banbury mixers and two roll mills. The applicant will also need to be conversant with all aspects of engineering ie - hydraulic & pneumatic systems as well as being competent in general workshops skills, welding, turning and fabrication.

Their production facility operates on a five day 24 hour basis with the engineering dept working on a two shift pattern 06.00 - 14.00 and 14.00 - 22.00.

It is expected that all their engineers are flexible when circumstances require it.

Overtime working will be required, as will participation in a call out system.

The engineering department consists of a small reliable team where the ability to work closely with your colleagues is essential.
