A vacancy has arisen with our large manufacturing client in Ashton within their MRP team for a Product Controller.
This vacancy is suitable for an individual with technical and/or engineering skills to undertake product set-up activity. Good level of IT literacy Ability to visualise 3D shapes when seen in 2 dimensions Good inter-personal skills Preferred Experience – one, some or all would be an advantage:
Understanding of product costing Understanding of Bills of Material (BOMs) and Routing Knowledge of the building products industry An electrical background Commercial acumen Key Tasks:
The ideal team candidate will be able to read a drawing and understand the sub-assemblies required to make the finished item. The product Routing and Bill of Material needs to be accurately entered in detail onto the computer system and costed. Training is available where applicants feel it is needed. This rewarding and challenging role requires a flexible individual with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly, who can work well under pressure. |
