Machine Tool design on both retrofits and new build using autocad 2000

Working Relationships

Ops manager, sales team, design engineers & service team

Develop detailed designs on a specific project, ensuring timescales and customer requirements are achieved.

Attend review meetings with key members on a daily and weekly basis to ensure build schedule timescale achieved.

Liaison with customers, sales, Ops Manager and project engineers

Liaison with Ops Manager, purchasing and suppliers ensuring planned delivery dates are adhered to

Develop technical knowledge of large machine tools to support MD and sales team in the sales process

Deliver technical solutions to internal design and customer requirements.

Capable of working with a minimum of supervision

Minimum is degree qualified in engineering discipline

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Proactive

Sense of initiative

Experienced in CAD and preferably Auto CAD & Solid Edge

IT experience

Full Driving Licence

Good Personal Presentation

Attention to detail and accuracy
