NED Connections makes a strong start

Less than a month after it's launch at Harvey Nichols in Leeds, NED Connections is becoming a well known force in Non Executive Director search and placement.
The specialist recruitment division was the brainchild of The Works founder, Leeds businessman Craig Burton and local entrepreneur and businessman Keith Madeley.
Craig said: “NED Connections is based on an idea of Keith Madeley’s, entrepreneur and businessman often referred to as Mr Yorkshire. It is imperative to the success of any company to bring non executive directors to the board who have their own strengths and knowledge.
Good non executive directors will also have a wealth of contacts and general 'been there, done that' wisdom to a company's board. All of which cannot fail to be of value to a company whatever its size."
The first few weeks have been busy ones, with over 50 serious enquiries from experienced people seeking roles as NED's - and several opportunities for openings within small and medium enterprises.
"We are tapping into a wealth of regional knowledge and as word spreads we expect to be very busy with placements. It's a very exciting time" said Craig.
NED Connections plan to host a series of training workshops, aimed both at companies and those considering a directorship. The first of these is on Tuesday 15th November, at Yorkshire Bank Financial Centre, starting at 0800. To reserve a place, or for more information, visit the
